The next morning she lay still in the bed, still unwilling to move on. Wanting, in the way only true remorse can make one, to remain mourning and never let go. In the other room there was talking but she didn't care what the voices said. Presently, the door opened and there was the sound of moving feet and the weight of someone sitting at the end of the bed. She kept her eyes closed, hoping they would think she's asleep and go away, and not make her let go.
She heard more footsteps by the doorway and the voice of the man from yesterday.
"She's still sleeping, we should let her."
She the other person, sitting at the end of the bed, moved sl
Rebecca rose the next morning with chilled dew on her face. She climbed from her balcony into her room and closed the window behind her. She first made her way to the bathroom and took a hot shower to chase away the cold. She got dressed and tied her hair back. She fetched her bag and made her way down stairs, with her mother already off to the station and her father still asleep she quietly made her way out of the front door into the rising light. She walked down the block to where the road came to a dead end and the forest began. She hopped the small guard rail and was off into the brush.
The morning still rising around her left the world
The sun poured through the filter of leaves that obscured it from the forest floor. It mixed with the early spring morning chill to create a perfect balance of comfort. She smiled as she walked jauntily through the forest with the sun passing over her intermittently, refreshing for a moment and then gone only to return again in another burst of brilliant warmth. For a long time she walked enjoying the sound of the crunching leaves and the forest life. Finally she came to a grove of odd trees with globular wooden nuts in their boughs of all colors of the rainbow. She tossed down her bag and collapsed into the sunny clearing, a owl-like creatur
The weeks at camp passed quietly and calmly. Bell found that while sometimes uneasy he felt more at home in camp than he ever had outside, just like the rest of them, he was different from those outside and only his friends here could understand. They held their games and they laughed and ate and swam together. After a while he began to wonder about his mother and home, but she had always seemed like like she wouldn't be there if it wasn't for him, he didn't know why but he knew that if he called she wouldn't answer, she had gone away.
He wasn't sad but it did make him anxious so one day he asked Klymene; "Is there a phone somewhere I
Lily broke into a run down the sand dune. "I've got to go grab something special." She said as she disappeared into the crowd.
"What is she getting?" Bell asked.
"We all have our own vices " Phiobe said.
"Hers just happens to be a bit more extreme." Klymene finished.
"What is it?" Bell pushed.
"Just don't put too much stock in anything she says tonight." Phiobe said. "She might be a bit addled."
"You kidding?" Melodie said. "She'll be smashed." She laughed. "I'm going to have my first drinking contest of the evening." She walked off calling for someone named Irine.
"Who's she calling for?" Bell asked.
"Irine Buren, leader o
After a moment Nichole's eyes fluttered open. "What did I say?" She asked.
Phyrrus repeated her prophecy back to her.
"So he has a brother?" She asked.
"Yes, somewhere, and this isn't the first we've heard of him."
"He had another prophecy?"
"From Hestia." Bell chimed in.
"What was it?" Nichole asked.
She closed her eyes and nodded her head in time to the rhythm of the words. When he finished she opened her eyes, looking to the ground for a moment.
"In ancient times, only the Romans called themselves Romans, everyone else called them Latins." She rose her eyes to meet Bell's. "Where did you learn to use a gladius?"

The next morning Logan woke Bell up. "We're holding the meeting early, Chiron wants you there."
"What meeting?"
Logan waited.
"Oh my placement meeting, I'm coming."
"Just in case we need you to make a choice."
Bell got out of his sleeping bag and put on a fresh shirt before following Logan up the hill to the house. As they entered the house, Bell saw all the cabin leaders sitting around a low card table in folding chairs. Logan sat, leaving only one chair open which after a moment Bell took. He looked around at the cabin leaders. He recognized Thanos, the leader of the Hades cabin, but he knew no one else's name.

The group began to move as silently as they could. From deep in the forest they heard the occasional echos of battle, though most were quickly muted by victory. They moved along until they had come about a quarter of the way around the forest and would be behind the enemy base. At this point they started inward, now even more wary of approaching enemies. Soon the rancor of battle suddenly flared nearby in the trees. They thought better to ignore it and moved passed only to have another ringing clash sound out to their right. Soon the whole of the forest around them gave way to the sounds of battle and they knew that they had to be nearing the
Bell had spent the afternoon trying the camp activities. That night he ate in the amphitheater with the other kids. He found himself bouncing from table to table as the more sociable of the children all called him over to introduce themselves. It felt like a party, the illumination from the torches and braziers, the music from the Apollo children who stood in the center of the amphitheater with their assorted instruments and the general rancor of over a hundred children in the same large room mixed to create a joyous air.
After a while as the talk began to die and the air of joy gave way to anticipation he saw two flags brought into the amph
A girl stepped forward. She was dressed in full Greek battle armor, a shield in one hand, a spear in the other. Her long black hair was tied in a pony tail that fell down to the mid of her back and her deep forest green eyes created endless entrancing pools where they could be seen through her helmet.
She gave a muffled greeting through her helmet. "Geia Sas."
"Ya'll ready?" Orph called.
"Nai." She said, pulling her spear close to her side and holding her shield a bit higher.
"Uh should I be waring armor?" Bell asked.
"Naw, y'll be fine. Ya ready?"
"Sure." Bell gripped his sword tightly and took a low stance.

Just finished the next chapter for the story.
I've got a week break coming up here and thought it would be perfect for getting back into the swing of things and building a buffer. Posting won't resume until next week but I have finally settled on a direction for the story and wanted to share a bit of something.
Brothers of blood but never in name
One to bring honor one only shame...
Yeah, I don't feel like writing today, on a similar note I haven't been really into the writing for a while. I think I'm gonna take a break. I'm not feeling very creative at the moment. I'll be back at some point next year.
Your wand (shut up), did you want any design on it? If not, I'll just leave it blank. If you did, I kind of have an idea for a design, but I'm open for suggestions.
